I would love to know how much a plane ticket was 20 years ago compared to what it is now (with adjustments due to inflation and whatnot) Its just like Skybus! They offer NO service, but you can get a ticket for $10!

People are getting what they paid for!

Wow, excellent article.... I almost wish they would have put in a line about how the pilots themselves are actually bearing the brunt of this too, but that's probably just a girlfriend of a pilot's point of view

Very interesting article. I read some of the comments (OK, like 8 pages worth out of the 55) and was pleased to see that there were NO complaints about the pilots and minimal complaints about the flight attendants. One person, who must have been an FA pointed out how they were not paid for parts of what you see them doing and also how the "8 hours rest" actually gets cuts down to 5 or 6.

Great article!!! On my drive in to work there were DJs on a local radio station bashing the pilots for the delays, etc. I was soooo mad that I couldn't get through to talk to them!!! Luckily a pilot got through and set them straight. They didn't understand why the pilots can only fly XX number of hours a day, etc. It really made me realize how people really think and how misinformed they are.
