Default Packing food for trips...??

I know there is already this thread somewhere, but I can't find it. For those of you that have packed food for trips, what foods have you packed?

Thanks,

Oh yes I made a post about this a while ago. My husband was making some really bad food choices while away. So we have ironed that out. I usualy get him the foil packs of white meat tuna and chicken. The already cooked packs of brown rice that you microwave, Granola bars, small boxes of cereal and small boxes of soy milk (no refrigeration),the small contaners of fruit sallad in spenda, crackers..etc.....It has been working really well. The food is healthy ,low fat & low calories.Good luck

The Hormel meals are great too. Most of them are under 300 calories and the fat content is pretty good. Best of all, my very picky husband says they taste good! That is amazing! They are small and easy to pack and fairly inexpensive.

Ohh...I thought you were talking about food for long car trips, so I was going to say, whatever you do, DON'T pack a sandwich with onions and mayo on it.

I learned that many, many years ago, and all of you know probably know it already because - well, it's common sense. Hey, I was eighteen.

But those were the WORST smelling sandwiches ever. (Luckily, we were at Oktoberfest, though, so there was no shortage of yummy German food.)
