What I can say is that I haven't seen this much of Nick in 3 years! Seriously! All of the gals with boyfriends or husbands with crappy schedules - it DOES get better!

| My DH hasn't started a route yet with XJ , but was told by his other fellow pilots that he will have 12 days off a month...I think that sounds good to me ! I really have no clue what is to come after his training, but I know I'll be strong and get through this. ! He's so calm about it all though, its like he doesn't realize that 45 days away in training is a BIG DEAL ! He leaves in 2 weeks and my stress is building a bit ..can you tell?? ![]() |

| My DH has been working for CAL for about a year and a half on the 75/76 doing overseas stuff. His schedule is okay. He holds about 14 days off and most of the time is 3 on 4 off. The commute is is what is killing us right now. Commuting from DFW to EWR is more difficult than we expected, so that is cutting into some of his days off. He is finally getting some more consistancy in his schedule, still no weekends off, but luckily I am a teacher so weekends are not big deal in the summer! Our schedule works for our marriage. I find when he has more than 5 or 6 days off, I begin to get a little cranky. I am a big fan of the 3 on 4 off schedule!

Eric does, and for us, him flying usually 4 on is better than having to commute 4 times instead of 3. We will try it (3 on) though when he changes to ATL next month. But he does ALWAYS have a guarantee of at least 12 days off, usually 14-16 on a good month. Ahh, I remember being in MCO, 18 days off a month! That was the life!

| Actually, Bill does commute, but the commute from panama city, to Atlanta is pretty nice,,,, its an hour flight (if that) and he always gets the jumpseat. So, it's a pretty easy commute for him. I think it would still be sooo much nicer for him to have the three on 4 off....... ![]() |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | DH is bidding #8 right now, so he gets what he wants. The problem is that he wants to dive when he's home. So I still never see him until he comes home with the lobsters or, if it's a deep dive, the scallops! The only reason I got to see him yesterday was because the dive boat cancelled due to weather (they go way out into the Atlantic so you have to have nice weather). |

| #8, oh the thought of that puts a smile on my face . As much as I don't want to wish all that time inbetween away to get to #8 it still would be a welcome change. Bonus points to your husband for bringing home a yumm-o dinner and peace offering! |
