| This is primarily for Mesa folks but feel free to comment if otherwise SO is almost done with IOE - yay! But we're not sure what will happen next - he's gotta move his stuff from PHX to ATL still. Does Mesa have to give a specific amount of time off for that? I scoured the contract yesterday but couldn't come up with much... any thoughts? |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | I can help answer that. Answer is pretty much "nope". It's a pilots choice to commute or move anytime they want. some airlines will assist with moving costs, i think most won't and it's up to you to move when you need to or when you have to so it'll be up to BF to move when he gets a decent amount of time off, if that makes any sense? |

| Hum...he might want to ask crew support about that. DH got 4 moving days after IOE even thought he didn't move...he just wanted some days off (his base did change and he called and asked about the moving days...they didn't just give them to him). I would have thought they would give him some days to move....but I could be wrong since I know nothing about Mesa. GL |

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Hmm, not a Mesa wife, but as far as moving goes, I think it's based too on scheduling availability. If a certain day is not good for scheduling to have you off, then they might give a different day or 2 off. Again, a lot of this would be based on contract and scheduling. It doesn't hurt to call and just say that you need x amount of days to make the move, you know?

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | I know Pinnacle gives its new F/Os sometimes up to a week for moving days.. but my boyfriend is starting OE on Tuesday and has no idea if he gets moving days at all... his company is so unclear with all of that.. Some companies don't have standard procedures for moving days.. |

| Jetgirls Member | I only know what XJet gives- 4 days. That's not even enough time for us to DRIVE from Jax to their Ontario, CA base if he gets based there. But would be plenty of time if we were moving from the West Coast or even IAH. Would be nice if they based the alotted time off on the distance you have to move... There must be someone he can call to get that info. Kim

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | That's the funny thing... the man is not shy at all with calling his companies... he's tried calling people from his company, posting on his companies "unofficial" pilot message board to see if any of them know, and reading through his manual... and still he can't seem to get a clear answer! |

| Jetgirls Member | Does Pinnacle have a union, like ALPA? I'm thinking that, for us at least, it's something that was negotiated in the contract. Has he tried there yet? Try posting something at JetCareers. I bet someone who works for Pinnacle who is on there will know. kim
