| Have a question for you all. With the attrition and monthly upgrade notices, have any of your DHs decided to upgrade to the 200 or 700 or ATR for that matter? I know most of the upgrades are going majorly junior to my husband who doesn't want to upgrade because he likes being 40-ish as an FO on the 50 seater. He can pretty much pick any line he wants and he gets his 1st or 2nd choice. However, it would be nice to have the captain pay, and I'm having a hard time convincing him to move over to the left seat. He'll be on reserve, which is the problem. And we have a second child coming in September. And he HATES ASA's scheduling dept!!! Anyway, to make a short story long...just curious if any DHs have taken any of the recent upgrades to get their PIC time and if so, how has reserve been treating them. I think the MEC is trying to get some scheduling stuff straightened out with the new contract, but who knows when that will be settled. DH and I are both hoping that when Delta comes out of bankruptcy, maybe they'll "Buy" ASA back! Unfortunately, it seems as if Jerry Atkin really has no interest in ASA other than as a cash cow. I know he hates unions, and hasn't been to interested in getting the contract settled at all or in cleaning up the ramp fiasco. Delta has taken over ramp operations and I hope things start to improve. I just want to know if any of you have any thoughts on ASA, or for now is it just a stepping stone to a major? That's all! Thanks for letting me rant!!!
