How does your DH like being an FFDO? Mine has thought about doing it but he doesnt want to lug the case everywhere he goes...he seems to think it would be more of a pain. But I really want him to do it. Lately he has been talking about maybe doing it again.

That's a good question...

DH is a world champion archer and has been around archery is entire life. His Dad actually just sold an archery shop in CA so I know he wouldn't own a shop, but maybe he would teach archery at the Olympic level. He has actually inquired about this in the past so that is a possibility.

Just recently we bought, refurbished, and sold a character home in WI. It is something that we had always wanted to do and although it was a lot of work it was very rewarding. DH is able to fix anything so we did all the work ourselves. Laying floors, painting, knocking out walls. It was a lot of fun. So possibly a handyman of sorts or just make a living from buying and selling fixed up homes.

Lastly, DH used to paint autos for a living. So maybe own a custom auto painting shop? He was very good at it, but was always concerned about the long term health issues that go along with years of painting.

Just a few ideas...I'm sure I could think of more later.

He likes it a lot and does not seem to find it an issue. It takes quite a while to go through the process and is quite a committment.
