Default It's TAX time!

Question...we typically use an accountant but this year, her fee went up to $200 to do our joint taxes and the JC business taxes.

Do you do your own taxes and if so, do you use flightline or how do you go about making sure you're maximizing aviation deductions and so forth?

If you use an tax preparer or accountant, how much do you normally pay them per year... is it a varied scale based on amount of income or a flat rate fee?

we're trying to figure out if it would just be easier to do our own taxes.. i'm thinking probably not because of the business taxes (deductions, depreciations etc) but maybe i'm wrong in that it wouldn't be all that difficult?!
