Yeah, while they're away is a great time to go into "training". Since my SO started his new job, I've lost 25lbs (on purpose). Yay training!

You'd actually be surprised! You eat when you feel like it, when you do eat, you eat smaller portions, and you have time to workout.

man! I am not kidding,, when BIll left for training,, i lost 20 pounds in three months (not on purpose!) I am the type that when i get stressed i cant eat a thing! When he was away,,, i could fit everything I ate in a day on a dessert plate,, it wasnt much... i pretty much turned into a bean pole,,,,,,, it was horrible,, my friends thought I was anorexic.

DH hasn't done training (other then recurrent) in a long time....however, I sometimes to do this a bit when he is normally gone! Not because I am upset that he is gone (well, I am but you know what I mean) but because he doesn't let me eat bad food when he is home! So when he leaves I will sometimes eat the things I really want! Like a tub of Ben and Jerry's ice cream or rice pilaf and corn for dinner (just those two). I don't do it every time, but sometimes I am in the mood to eat bad!

ah... that's right.. some people gain weight under stress.

Me, I can't eat if I'm depressed... like a thing. And I tend to work out a lot.

oh goodness...i just tend to even it all out...i'll eat whatever, but end up running/working out it off...i don't know, swimsuit season is just around the corner, maybe i should ship him off!
