Swa!@#$%^

Ok, I'll try to vent this really quick b/c it's the 2nd time I've written this b/c the first time I some how deleted my post!

Anyway, I'm soooo frustrated. DH heard from about 5 ppl out of his interview group that they got the job. That's about "quota" for the avg. # of folks they've been hiring per group.

For those of us who haven't rec'd "the call." We wait and we wait and we wait for the dreaded letter of rejection. Why does it have to take so long! We need closure @#$%^& it!

Anyway, this is my not so subtle way of saying we're pretty sure DH didnt get the SWA gig. It's ok...AirTran is great too...it's just hard to want something that you know you shouldn't want so much! Make sense???!!

Stacy- I don't like how SWA makes you wait so long... what a process, huh? Two of Nick's good friends just found out they didn't get hired and we were floored. They both have the personality, skill, etc. One of his friends even has extensive experience in the military flying F16s and has thousands of hours of PIC. One of his friends is waiting until he can apply/interview again(I don't agree with that) and the other is looking into different options.

There's still hope though since he hasn't been contacted yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. for you.

Don't give up hope UNTIL you receive that letter....until then, there's always a possibility!

Never give up hope if that's where he wants to be. There are lots who didn't make it until the third try. My fingers are crossed for you!

I totally understand, DH has gone through the same thing. I back Roz & Kristie though. I encourage DH to not give up hope, maybe he is on the line, if someone else says "No" then he might be the one to get the next call. No news is good news until the letter comes.

It's not fair that they make you wait so long. But like the other girls said, there is still hope you haven't heard yet. And if he didn't get it this time, he can always try again. My fingers are crossed for you!

Alas, the letter came today. We have closure. It's a disappointment but we can at least plan the future a little better. Thanks for tolerating my vent and responding w/ such positiveness (is that a word?). Anyway, you all are awesome!

AirTran it is...lol..at least for now...isn't that how it is in aviation! You never know what the next 5 years will bring! It's never boring for sure!

I'm sorry. But he can apply again in a year. They like people who show that they really want to be there! But, at least he has a good job now.
