| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060323/delta_pilots.html?.v=3 So, will we see a resolution? Frequent fliers are booking away like mad on both DAL and NWA. I'm one of them. |

| Admin/Owner ![]() | I hope so.. but the company needs to come down some...they won't budge on what they want...they want the 18%, they want the no furlough clause gone..they want to add more regional flights...they want to end the pension plan.. they want to take away stock options.. it's nothing but a bad deal for pilots and if they won't budge on pay, scope, benefits, even a bit.. then there isn't much we can do but fight. if they were being reasonable in wanting to help the company, then they'd be trying to minimize the pain by only taking what's "necessary"...not inflict more by trying to get everything they *want*...

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | But, the pension has a 4/15 deadline for funding by Delta. And the stock is worthless both now and upon emergence from bankruptcy--so why would anyone care about the stock options? They were only valuable if you got them and exercised them and then sold the stock for a profit. So all you have left is pay, scope and a furlough clause (which they were able to get around anyway). Anyway, I hope they sit down in earnest. I am curious--I never heard of a "Practice Strike": http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/060324/delta_pilots.html?.v=5 |
