Nick just called me and he had great work news. The bid just came out and he was awarded CRJ FO. YEA!! He'll be based in Philly and his ground school starts April 11, right around the corner. I should be upset I guess since I won't see him that much but I'm so excited that he'll have a pay increase (albeit small) and his QOL will improve. While in Philly he'll probably live with his parents and get to use his beloved SUV that he left there last year. He says he may have enough seniority to get PHX fairly quickly!

that is EXCELLENT news for Nick!! you two worked out the commute/long distance thing before, you'll be able to do it again while he's back in philly and during ground school... just make sure you keep talking in a daily basis (communication is where it's at!) and you'll do ok!

I found out more info...FABULOUS new info. Nick will be in ground school here in PHX!!!! I think it lasts 2 months or so, and then he is supposed to go to Philly....BUT he spoke with a Mesa training friend and he said Nick has enough seniority to hold PHX!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!
