You'll learn!

WOOHOO!

Man, I'd be psyched. Little kids get such a great sense of culture growing up somewhere outside of the country they'll end up spending the rest of their lives in, too (which is nice). Cool! Are you excited?

How cool is that?!? I was just southern France and would have loved to stay.

Check out Rosetta Stone's online or software-based language learning program. I think it's outstanding as far as learning a language in a natural way.

Wow, that's a huge challenge. Exciting, but also scary too, particularly with a young baby. Ryanair don't like giving British pilots British bases, do they?!

There must be British expat forums you could join - and perhaps groups of British mums in that area? It will be tricky with no french, but you'll pick it up, I'm sure!

Good luck, we're thinking of you.

How exciting! Good luck to you!

My hubby uses Rosetta stone and is doing great! He can now make announcements in Spanish!

When I lived in Mexico, I worked for Berlitz and found that people really got a grasp for the language by using the cd's.

When I moved to Quebec City two years ago I only had my high school french to rely on...yeah, right.....

I used the tapes by Michel Thomas and I'm able to get by and learning more as I go along. Oh, and my teenage son is COMPLETELY bilingual now...brat!!

I hear the Rosetta Stone ones are good as well but more expensive.
