IOE is here!

I slept like crap last night being so anxious for fiance's IOE! It all starts today! He's nervous and excited. I can't wait to hear the stories. He shared his schedule w/ me so I'll be on flightaware.com all day watching him!!

I think I'll take a bunch of screen captures of all of his different flights and put them together in a collage or something. Some way for him to remember his first time flying the crj900 (though I'm sure he won't forget this).

How fun!!! I probably logged as many hours on flightaware as he did during his first few weeks flying

... that'd be awesome to make a collage... ooh... maybe you could do that and give it to him for Christmas??

oooo fun.. Those new CRJ 900s look pretty sharp.. we have a bunch of them here in DTW.

oh, and remember.. FlightAware has about a 7 minute delay...

Reminds be of my BF's IOE two months ago. He called me up on day three and left a voicemail saying "So, yeah, I just got done filling out a bunch of paperwork...Call me whenever..." So I freaked out thinking he'd done something wrong. SO MEAN!!!! Turns out the cockpit door opened due to FA error--it was her first trip too.

In any case, the IOE went great and I'm sure your SO's will too...HOW exciting is it to think about them flying passengers all over the place? (Not to mention lookin' hot in their uniforms, right!) Even now sometimes I think I'm more excited for him than he is! Thinkin' of you...

WOOHOO...we just finished IOE, and well he's home waiting for the 'call' for his 'real' schedule...hahaha...I was so excited for him, and whenever I have the chance i just keep flightaware up...and usually send him a cute text when he lands...he'll call me during his walk around too, so i'm usually bursting with pride for the rest of the day...good luck he will do great!!!
