Default Hey Hey he's gonna fly an RJ!

Fiance` just passed his crj900 check ride!! Woooo!

I'm happy for him/us ... but man, this is starting to get real, very real. Time to suck it up for this first year or so.

Woohoo!! High-five!

You always know that they'll pass, but it's always a relief to hear when they do... that way they stop annoying the hell out of you, too!

I know you mean that jokingly, but we're half considering it ... in a few years or so. W/ that area being so economically depressed we could definitely get our hands on a house (impossible in CA). And we'd be a lot closer to family back in OH. For now, though, we'll just wait and see how much fiance` digs his job!

Hey, I for one love Michigan. You just need to find certain spots to live. The cost of living is a little high, but if you are living in CA, then it shouldn't be too hard of a transition financially.

If you ever need any help looking in certain areas, feel free to ask.

Thanks Becky! I loved MI when I lived there. Granted, my perspective is a bit skewed b/c we lived in Flint when I was 2 years old until 13. But all of my important formative year memories are from MI.

Financially, MI should be a breeze coming from CA. Even the nicer areas surrounding Detroit have GOT to be cheaper. I'll definitely keep you in mind if this idea comes to fruition!
