He got a job offer!

So as I mention in another thread, dh interviewed with Republic and Comair this week. We knew he didn't have enough hours, but we were hoping for a conditional offer once he got x amount of hours or something.

Wednesday he got an email asking him to complete the online application, which he did because I MADE him. He thought it was a "formality" and they weren't going to offer him anything. I should also mention that we got into a serious argument because I "made" him sign up for the interview with Republic when all he wanted to interview with was Comair. I suggested since they were here anyway (at ATP) then he may as well interview with them. It was going to beall my fault when he didn't get the job and he had to wait 6 months to interview again.

I have been checking his email every chance I get to see if they have emailed him, and nothing. I'm at work just coming back from lunch and he calls and tells me he was offered a job with Chatauqua once he gets more hours. They gave him a class date and everything!

This is the happiest "I told you so" I've EVER had!

He is scheduled to go to training on September 19th or October 22, whenever he gets about 200 more hours. He is getting ready to take his CFIs in the next week or so, and then instructing soon after that, so hopefully the hours will build up fast.

I just wanted to share my excitement!
We also have a showing on our house that won't sell tomorrow, but I've learned not to get excited over those anymore
