New Job!

So after 6 weeks of stressing, DH finally got the call on Friday afternoon! We were in Walmart of all places! I thought I was going to go crazy since the middle of May. This week was the worst though knowing the Decision Board was meeting on the 20th....and finally at 4:30 Friday afternoon the Phoenix Chief Pilot called.

He got the job with Southwest!

We are so excited! Now he has to go and get his type (hopefully before the July 10 DB for the June guys, but that is not very likely) and then wait for a class date. He is thinking he will go to class in Nov or Dec. We are hoping Nov. since they fly the wives out the first 2 days, if it is Dec. I won't be able to go.....maybe they will give me a rain check!

DH is beyond excited. He wanted this job so bad, it is the only airline he would leave ExpressJet for at this point in his career. We are on Cloud 9- a baby and a new job! Who could ask for more!?
