yeah i know... well, i still got it to work, just used some other hotel type bottles. nobody really seemed to care which makes me think that i'll try the smaller bottles next time and see how that goes - altho i hate having stuff taken away, so maybe if it works once, i shouldn't mess with it? haha

Thanks Roz, for queuing me in on that, otherwise, who knows.....

L'Occitane save my Mom's life. She was diagnosed with "failure to thrive"--she had given up the will to live and went from 125 lbs to 75 lbs in three weeks. Her skin was a mess, she could no longer walk (she had used a walker but would race down the hallways!), was incontenent (she never was before).

We hired a nurse to care for her during hours in which I could not be there. We bought her the body lotion. And we began rubbing it in to help her skin that was falling off. Well the tender touch and lotion worked! She revived. Her skin grew back. Her hair grew back. She was no longer incontinent. She could walk in the morning (never fully recovered). She regained her interest in life and sense of humor. And she lived for five more years like that! Yes, our nurse worked with her extensively on the incontinence and walking, but knowing she was loved and the constant touching with wonderful, luxurious lotion was the key.

I ended up at the store in St. Maarten on May 9th--my Mom's birthday. I was crying as I bought a year's supply! By the time I was through with my story, everyone was crying and I had $50 in freebies. That was Mom's birthday present to me!

Aww.. what a touching story!

It's interesting the way those things always seem to happen on important anniversaries.

ya know, i saw a L'Occitane store while in France and thought about buying some stuff and taking it back with me - then thought about the exchange rate and said forget it, i'll just buy it at home cheaper! how's that for sad!! haha

speaking of, as i was coming back through customs, i thought it was VEHWE interesting that the non-US citizens line was a LOT longer than the US citizens line. hmmmmmm...

WOW, that's awesome!!!! I wish that same effect could work for men but they don't think much about lotions and stuff... my dad's having a really hard time with it (florida rejected him) and i'm not quite sure what i can do to bring him back up out of his doldrums.
