| It's a HappySad thing. The bf was assigned yesterday to ATL. I'm happy because there's more flights out of there than MCL! He'll also be able to crash for free; he's got family out there. And it's a lot cheaper to live there overall than MCL too. But it's sad because it's Mesa... oi. Eight days off a month isn't much at all, epecially when they're so erratically thrown throughout the month ![]() But it's one more step to better QOL and that's a positive thing! |

| Yay for getting a commutable base, and for having a free place to stay! That's not a small thing, I tell ya. Good luck with the transition. |

| Oh Yea!!! Congrats on the free crash pad site and a good base for you guys. My dh is based in ATL with ASA. He has a crash pad down there. Even though we used to live there we really couldn't find anyone willing to host him while on reserve. Congrats how exciting!!Quote:

| A free place to stay is such a bonus for when the trips are not commutable! Concentrate on the good things and the rest won't seem as bad. ![]()

| Jetgirls Plus Member ![]() | Congrats! Ditto on what everyone else is saying. FREE is COOL! That's why Nick is staying with my sis in NJ- it's FREE! When he worked for Mesa he had "crashpads" although they were really apartments with guys he knew from groundschool(s). He paid more since there were assigned rooms. Good luck!

| Admin/Owner ![]() | 1/2 the battle is won!! he's got a place to stay, a set domicile and will be saving a ton of money at the same time! seriousy, it might be more than 1/2 the battle!! it's a major coup... Congrats on that!!! just having that portion figured out is going to make it easier to adjust.
