I've kinda scrolled through all the pages, but maybe someone could answer this for me. My son Eric had H1N1, missed the time to start taking tamiflu, and is still sick. He just looks like not himself. He's coughing and his eyes are glazed over. No fever, and has been free of one for 48 hrs now. Went to school today and seems bad now. If he does get a fever, will that just be a regular cold/flu or should I call the doc since Victoria has had a fever the past couple of days and just finally broke. Did that just make any sense?? If Victoria gets a fever while taking tamiflu and someone comes in contact with her, will they be at risk of H1N1 or just a reg flu?? Are we still carrying the flu germs? Forgive me for my mommy brain. Just tonight I was trying to figure out what the words were for the compound handkerchief! I do need more sleep even after my 3 hour nap I took.

there are lots of overlaps--chest, aches, tiredness are in all 3. several categories are "not common" symptoms but that doesn't mean they aren't exhibited often--the reverse with something like sore throat--maybe not common for H1N1 but if you cough enuff, your throat can feel sore. I guess you have to be an "interpreter"! hope it's the least of any of those 3 and she gets better soon |
