stomach gurggling

what is it when your stomach gurgles? Like, I'm not talking grumbly rumbly hungry, just kinda gurgley.

i had a follow up surgery yesterday to fix all the scarring from before and have been taking lortab with apple sauce and i notice after i take it (and am laying down) that i can hear my stomach gurgling away! It lasts about 10 mins then settles down. Is that just because there was nothing in there and the juices are starting to flow to digest things?

i also just got the hiccups... man...


for those interested - this surgery was a million times easier than the last one. I don't feel like death warmed over and i can move around pretty easy and am not really sore at all.
