Dana is our resident Nurse Practitioner. She is a practicing nurse in the PHX area and is also wife to a PHX AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) who assists Jetcareers.com with their aviation related medical questions.

Default Medication after surgery?

How long should I keep taking the pain medication after surgery? (perkocet sp?)I tried taking it every nine hours and almost died I tried this two days ago.... so I have now been taking it about every 6 hours and the bottle says every 4....I just want to make sure that I can get myself off it before I run out...Sorry if I am rambling I'm a little loopy Any ideas would be great
