Ask A Nurse Practitioner

Say Hello to Dana...

Dana is our resident Nurse Practitioner. She is a practicing nurse in the PHX area and is also wife to a PHX AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) who assists Jetcareers.com with their aviation related medical questions.

Feel free to ask anything you would normally ask your personal nurse.

My son has some great specialists in Tampa...I found them through my old doctors in Columbus. I was pretty lucky because my son's urolgist did his residency with someone here in Tampa. My son's nephrologist knew the pediatric nephrologist down here, so I knew exactly who to go to....I love his pediatric nephrologist. I like his urologist. So, my point is, could you possibly call your old office to see if they may know of an ob down here that they could suggest? or ask your family doc to recommend someone.

Thanks for the info. on St. Joseph though; I might see if that is one of the hospitals I can choose. I have heard some great things about it.
Let me know how things go with St. Joseph's..if I am hearing about it over here on the east coast of Fla. it must be saying something good. I think I found someone here..going to call Monday to see if accepting new patients..worst case senario, I will travel back up to Pa. to the OB I loved and just take advantage of those grea travel benefits! But as you can imagine that could get tricky if we get to having babies! So that's why I think I should stick to getting setting up with one here.
