| Ask A Nurse Practitioner Say Hello to Dana... Dana is our resident Nurse Practitioner. She is a practicing nurse in the PHX area and is also wife to a PHX AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) who assists Jetcareers.com with their aviation related medical questions. Feel free to ask anything you would normally ask your personal nurse. |

| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | Dana I figure you are the best person to ask this question to! I am thinking about what I want to do with the rest of my life, and I have been looking into physicians assistant and nurse practitioner. I did find a lot of information about PA and how to get there, not so much on being a nurse practitioner. I will assume it starts with going to nursing school, but then what after? What is the difference in PA and nurse practitioner? Thanks!
