| Jetgirls Ol' School Member | My daughter's finger got shut in a door about a week ago, and it was bleeding from all sides of the nail but it looked like it was still attached on all sides. Now that it's mostly healed, I see that it's not at all attached other than the bottom where it's coming in. I've got it taped up so that it won't catch on anything and rip off, but is the new nail that grows in going to be able to attach itself to her nail bed? The skin under the nail seems to be all healed, not like open skin anymore, if that makes any sense. So how will it attach to it? Should I do anything else? Is my precious beautiful girl going to end up never having a fingernail there again? ![]() |
