That and I sort of felt like the responses that were presented here were trying to speak for ALL men, and that simply can't be done. Your perspective, as a man, is your perspective. I wouldn't try to speak for "all women everywhere", and that's what I felt like the male responses were.

I'd love to get their general perspectives on posts througout the board, but only as "their" opinion, not the "opinion of men everywhere" KWIM?

"My significant other doesn't post/read here so I'm happy to answer honestly!!?!"

You couldn't answer honestly if she posted/lurked here? That's kind of sad.... I'd never post anything on a messageboard that I wouldn't want my spouse to read. To each his own, I guess!!!
Tanya- I agree with you! Nick sometimes lurks and I don't write anything he would be mad about. He's happy that I have a place to go where people can understand the aviation lifestyle. My friends just don't get it.

Kevin- If you want to post or answer questions that's fine as long as you position it as your sole opinion. Men, just like women, are all different which their opinions, background, education, values, etc etc etc.

Didn't mean to start a "thing," just curious!

My wife doesn't post because she just plain isn't interested in message boards, etc. I've tried to nudge her in that (general internet chat/message board) direction and it's just not her - she's kinda "old school;" it's all I can do to get her to use email or turn her cell phone on!

Ha, your wife sounds like my DH in that aspect. He's not on JC and isn't into message boards either. He picks on me b/c I'm on a few them . He spends little time on the internet....its just not his thing.

Oh, over on JC I saw that you spent time on the Enterprise. A friend of mine gave me a tour once before he deployed out of Norfolk...that was a beast of a ship....really cool though. (I have a soft spot for the Navy since my dad retired after his 20yrs in '84 )
