ok, so i'm having a halloween party this year (depending on what weekends DH gets off)...

the hard part with planning a big bash is that you have no idea what the schedule will be till about 2 weeks before the beginning of the next month. So even though i'm technically not supposed to plan until we know, i'm kinda planning anyways! haha

any ideas for food/drink items or even contest items? The party will be a masquerade party where costume and mask will be required.. so far, the ugliest & scariest costume contest is all i can come up with...

I don't think anyone in our age group will bob for apples for fear of ruining costume, hair styles or what not (we'd all be in our late 20's to 40's)... so we can't do that....

but i'm taking ideas! if you've had any successes at your halloween parties - let me have em!!
