 We are building a house!!
I am so excited! We are building a house!! All of a sudden I am so busy I can hardly breathe!! Last week, we had 2 meetings with realtors, a trip to the design center to pick out stuff, and I had 2 job interviews, looked for daycares for Mac, replanted the flower beds out front, cleaned out our office, recaulked the formica (yuck) in the kitchen, rearranged the furniture in the dining room, and made several trips to home depot for odds and ends!!
Oh yeah, and I worked a full week somewhere in there.....
We are moving to a new community in Frisco ( still DFW area). So yes, DH will be a commuter forever!! The community is brand new. In fact we will probably be one of the first homes in there. But they are already building and building quickly!! We should be in by mid Oct or at the latest early Novemeber. I am mostly excited about the kitchen!! Granite countertops, ceramic tile, undermount sink, all stainless appliances, island in the center. Super counterspace!! Pull out drawers for pots and pans, open to the family room and tons of windows, so it is light and bright!!! Maybe I might be more motivated to start cooking again!! Time to pull out the recipe books.
Anyhow, that's why I've been scarce lately. But I am still trying to read and keep up. Hope all is well with everyone!!
