We're not nervous about the wedding itself, or the big life commitment, but rather the logistics of making the bbq reception work!! 70+ guests; gobs of ice chests to keep uncooked food/meat and drinks and ice cool; serving bowls; aluminum pans to keep side dishes warm; etc .... Fiance's home for ~10 days so we've been running all around town to get all that we can get (non-perishables). The week of the wedding we'll both take off from work and get all the last minute items and perishable food.
All I can say is .... WE CAN'T WAIT FOR OCTOBER 5TH ... when its ALL OVER!! |
Good luck with all your last minute preparations! It is more work to go the inexpensive route, but it makes it special, too. DH and I chose a restaurant that was full service, but did all the decorations ourselves--including flowers. We even made chocolate candies with the candy molds that were a bride and groom and a chocolate plaques that said "Thank you for sharing our day." It will come and go before you know it! I hope you have a very special day!
