Glad you guys made your decision. Sounds like it wasn't made lightly, and you have a big picture plan to follow. Keep to it, and try not to question yourselves as time goes on. It's really easy to wonder (a couple years after the fact) if you made the right choice. Really easy, especially in a strange, wonderful, unpredictable, unforgiving, ever changing environment like Aviation.
Nintendo game, that's funny. At my recent former place of employment, new hire dispatchers are put into the same ground school as new hire pilots, and we heard the same thing form the avionics instructor. Makes me wonder if these glass cockpit pilots don't wish they sometimes had a "Shoot Missle" button, when flying
