Default Re: Food for overnights?

Thanks everyone! I really did get some great ideas -- i usually pack the typical granola bars, pretzels, crackers, peanut butter, chips and salsa, fruit, veggies, trail mix, and he ALWAYS takes tuna.

I think I'm going to try the homemade soup thing, and the rice thing is a great idea too! (does rice need to have an ice pack in the bag if its cooked? i'm thinking no but just making sure...) I'm also going to try oatmeal, my only other problem is that he's lactose intolerant so he's going to have to eat it with water mixed in and i'm not sure if he likes that or not. he says he hasnt eaten oatmeal since he was little and used to dump syrup all over it. lol...

i got other ideas too but i can't think of them when i'm not looking at the post but THANKS!!!
