Default Homemade baby food

Does anyone make homemade baby food?

I just bought a Magic Bullet so I could make some food for Jack. I just made his favorite- Butternut Squash! I bought a big squash and steamed it and then pureed it. I made 46oz of squash for about $3.50 (I bought it at $.99 a lb., I am not sure how many lbs it was since of course I throw out my receipt today but I figure it was around 3-3.5 lbs). I figured I payed .07 an oz vs. .15 an oz if I bought it. The real reason I made it was because I wanted to make him some homemade food. I just put them in ice cube trays and now I will be able to give him homemade squash for a while!

If anyone is interested here is a really cool website with recipes and information http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/

If anyone else makes homemade food, do you have any good recipes or tips?
