Exactly! That's what I'm really scared of!
Also, even if your dog does escape, whoever finds him/her may just decide to keep the dog... It happened to us once, and out dog even had a tag on, too, so it required no extra effort to return her... The only reason we got her back was because some neighbor happened to mention that another neighbor had a dog that looked like ours... Turned out it WAS ours!
