Yep, this is the official word that we heard yesterday.
We had the same experience of hearing of all of this first from another employee, then from the news media, then from the union and only now the "official" word.
DH is a first year FO and his hire date anniversary is in the end of August - so we were just about to finally move up to good ole second year pay - now back to - ??? flight instruction maybe?
We relocated to LA for his job, now we're not sure what to do.
So is the nature of the airline industry, I suppose. Part of the price of living the dream.
