i had no idea mainline was paying for their fuel... that just makes the regional bottom line look so much worse!! |
is this word of mouth fact, or actually seen it in writing fact, and if so is it that way for all of the regionals? Not doubting, I have just learned in this field that there are a lot of "facts" floating around. I wonder b/c I think that skywest pays for their fuel, they just had a big write up about their fuel costs in the monthy newletter a few months back. but who would really know unless you saw the fincial records.

Those buying parts, etc everywhere stop. It's a global economy so it stops all over.
So, while some of the legacies may be sitting pretty thinking their future is in international flying, they may find that there is a world wide recession here.
Save your money and prepare. The masterminds don't get it.
By the way, DAL and NWA can't talk furloughs now with their merger pending approval. Once it's approved, let's see what happens. This is all so sad. |
from everything that I have read this has been the case in the past, when the US was down it pulled everyone down, but they are not so sure that it is the case this time. Alot of the other countries aren't struggling like we are and recession doesn't seem to be looming. My cousin lives in China and is opening a second site to his export business, he is doing great, along with many others. He has pointed out many times that China doesn't have the dependence on oil like we do. The have mass transport systems, and very few households have cars, so they aren't seeing the strain on their budget. (his goal is to have us all move over there so he likes to point out all the positive points). I guess we will have to wait and see. I have moved most of my stock to overseas investments, (they seem to be the ones making money) so I will have to watch it close.
It would be intresting to see what overseas ladies think, do you think guys heading for recession???
