Default Re: Delta is dropping XJT

These masterminds just don't get it. They built the model on $50/barrel fuel. I'm not going to go into the I told you so mode re UAL, DAL and others exiting BK with that model.

But they don't get the fact that, while other major industrial nations are growing such as China and India, the US is driving the economy.

So, when oil is really high and people in the USA are losing their jobs, feeling the pinch and tightening the belts--guess what happens?

They stop buying. It's already happened.

Businesses have had to adjust. Sales are really down.

But, to make things to sell here in the USA, parts are often made overseas.

Those buying parts, etc everywhere stop. It's a global economy so it stops all over.

So, while some of the legacies may be sitting pretty thinking their future is in international flying, they may find that there is a world wide recession here.

Save your money and prepare. The masterminds don't get it.

By the way, DAL and NWA can't talk furloughs now with their merger pending approval. Once it's approved, let's see what happens. This is all so sad.
