John is finally back from texas! Took him about 10 weeks to do it all. While he was there he got his commercial certificate, his multi engine cert. and his CFI/CFII/MEI. I'm so happy to have him back
I was so down in the dumps while he was gone for so long. It's wierd - we've got the distance thing down and can handle a few weeks apart but this was really way WAY too much. I have no idea how some people (Lurker) handle being apart for so long.
I also dread the thought of him one day being hired by an airline and having to be gone for 8 weeks again for training. Oh well, we'll get through it but still hard.
Now, today begins his search of western michigan for someone to hire him. It's kind of a prediciment because he's only going to be instructing until Dec. and then he's moving with me out to Utah where he'll (hopefully) find a more fulltime/permanent job there. He's worried that no one will want to hire him for just 4 months on a part time basis (he's still in school). His plan though is if he doesn't get hired some where to do freelance instruction, BFR's and IPC's. In any case, it's off to the races for him.
meanwhile i'm still stuck at my job beating my head against my desk waiting for patients to arrive and bloods to be processed. BLAH! I can't wait to move! Although, i'm in the process of moving right now back to my parent's house and I hate moving!! I have so much more stuff than I thought, it's crazy! it's mostly staying in boxes though to go on the u-haul in Nov but still a pain!
