Are any of them (the pilots) considering non-aviation jobs in the meantime? One thing that might help prepare for a furlough is to go to JC, or have the pilots go to JC, and look for Zap Brannigan's post on how he dealt with all his furloughs. Ian said he gave excellent advice. (and I think Ian's going to post a link here, since he knows where it is.)
