Re: Baby furniture and bedding We just got regular furniture from a furniture store for our son's room. It is for a kid's room, so it is not overly large, but it should last for awhile. Just got a dresser with a mirror, chest of drawers and a nightstand which all came as a package. It's not the best quality, but it looks nice. He has a TV in his room (can't watch TV just for video games and movies) which he has on the nightstand. We did not buy a changing table. I think the angle you have to stand to use them is awkward and my mom told me they were a waste of money. We had a a changing pad thing which we just put on the bed in the spare room to change him. It was pretty convenient. We special ordered the crib from Baby Depot so it would almost perfectly match the furniture. I don't think he even slept in that until he was over 6 months old! I saw this really cute bedding set I liked at Penney's, so I got that. It seemed like I looked and looked but knew exactly what I wanted when I saw it. So, when you see something, you'll probably know it's what you want, if that makes sense??? Good luck.
