Ooo sweet, Robyn! I've been wondering how things were progressing with that pool... (and mostly how close your husband was to getting out of it!) VERY exciting news. On the glass is half-full side of things: I know you were worrried before about him being in training and missing your munchkin's birth. Instead he got to be there and has been home to bond. So, in this sense, the wait in the pool was a good thing! Does he feel ready to go? I'm ready to hear about his training!
We have several friends that are working there now, and definitely think it's the cat's meow. They've NEVER been happier, and you can see that when you look at them.
