Default oranges

Anyone have a trick that helps them pick out a good orange from a bad orange? I'm dying to know if there's anything like this out there. I've been going through a terrible string of bad orange after bad orange. Usually about 1 in 3 oranges is good, juicy, and tasty.

Is this year just a bad crop? Do I shop at poor orange produce grocery stores? Or do I lack the good sense and knack for picking out the perfect orange?
