Default Re: Hubby sick on the "road"?

[quote=Bigsweetie;55209]That's a great idea!! My DH has actually had to go to the ER (get himself in a cab, etc.) while on the road. quote]

I can relate to this only from the other perspective. I work for a hospital and often am in the ER. A woman approached me one day about how she could get her prescription filled. She explained that she was a pilot with a urinary tract infection and didn't want her crew to know about it. Boy was she in luck that day as DH was home and had just made some of his famous homemade soup AND was on his way over with it. With her permission, I told him what was going on and not only did he bring her soup but took her to the pharmacy and back to the hotel. I was so happy she took us up on it and that we could help. I would hope that if DH was in a similiar position, someone would do the same for him.

But, clinics in the airports are a GREAT idea!
