my family is great. they drive me crazy, but they are always here. esp. my dad, being the only girl out of his 5 boys, I have always been his princess. Things weren't good in our house when I was in high school, and I left as soon as I could, and didn't have much contact with my family for a long time. My dad was thrilled when I moved back. My dad is a jack of all trades, so he fixes the car, the house, and all the stuff in between. They love their grandkids, and are great about taking them when ever we need a break.

Even though it has been several years since my stroke, and heart attack, my parents are VERY protective, my dad stops by and mows the yard whenever Lance is gone. In fact their is a little resenment between my dad and Lance. I don't think my dad really understands him being gone, and Lance resents that my dad is always there doing stuff, that he can do, when he gets home.

but my friends and this web site are the go to places for emotional stuff. I just have never been sharing with my family.
