Hi everyone...I feel like I should reintroduce myself b/c I post so few and far b/w. Things have been busy for us lately so computer time is limited. Anyway, I hope you don't mind if my one and only post in forever is a vent. I'm not that negative...just frustrated right now so here it goes...*deep breath*

Argh! I miss hearing something positive in aviation...at least from our stand point w/ ATA. DH is an FO w/ ATA and just got word the other day more furloughs are coming in August! W/ the given number now that will leave about 12 left under him. The furlough numbers aren't hard yet so they could change. If they change DH could be furloughed soon. Positive thought<---he still has a job and could still have a job in the coming weeks but not knowing is killin' me! DH is so frustrated as am I!

He just told me y'day that we may have to scrap our annual motorcylcle trip to the mtns this year. We go every year to see the foliage, etc. Its an awesome trip! But now, that may be gone b/c of money! That's our only "out" w/ out the kids each year! It's my sanity trip! Probably to be no more! Oh woe is meeeee!

It's just the constant living in limbo and NOT knowing! We finally decided to commit to updating our 14 year old house. You know, things are starting to look ratty and it's about time we invested in nice furniture instead of adding yet one more microwave table to store junk in! I'll be 33 this month and DH is 39. Time to stop living like college kids! Well, w/ potential furloughs, who can let go of a dime!

Ok, blah blah...you get the picture...I'm going to get another cup of coffee and get myself awake before my little ones get up. I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th and is having a great summer! I hope to post more often and become more a part of this online community!
