Haha..I think we all know how that one ends! Hopefully there will be no underpants-sighting during my trip to London and Paris next month... :-)

Humor aside, has anyone been to London/Paris? Or for those of you that live across the pond--any tips on what to see and where to go to fully experience each city?

Two of my brothers, my boyfriend and I are joining my cousin and his girlfriend for one week of their three-week European backpacking trip. (We plan to do the whole "Staying-in-hostels-and-living-on-bread+cheese+wine-thing") I've backpacked in Europe before, but have never been to these cities.
We will def see some of the popular touristy things, but are interested in finding more local, unique things to do/see as well.

Any thoughts/recommendations?
