We do that too! Several Christmases ago I bought all four kids and DH matching mini ty beanie babies. They all have a white bear with red, white, and blue stars. The kids sleep with their bears when Dad is away and Dad's bear travels with him. We have some pretty cute pictures of the pilot and the bear on their adventures. In the sky and of course in the hotel.
