I think that attitude and those feelings are completely normal. What you're living right now is old hat, not the new exciting unknown that lies ahead for you guys in PA. Its a big game of hurry up and wait!

I say use the time productively in other ways. For example, when I assumed the role of my current job, the woman I was replacing was exactly in your shoes. Sure, she had a few odds and ends projects to finish up, but aside from my questions, she was pretty bored and anxious. So she used the time to do a lot of coordinating for their new house in FL. She used the time to create change of address forms. Etc ... It may seem immoral and unethical, but so is just sitting there w/ no results.

I'm excited for you! Your situation reminds me a lot of myself 4 years ago! Go get 'em Tiger!!
