Here's the scoop on my boyfriend and I. We've known each other for about 4 years, and we have just recently started dating. It took that long for me to get use to the long distance relationship. I'm here in Kentucky and he's living outside of Atlanta and working at the airport. Ivan graduated a year ago with a degree in Urban Policy Studies with a concentration in Aviation and he earned his Private Pilot's License in the process. He's currently working at the airport and constantly studying (and waiting on loans) for his Instrument Rating. He's on the slow track, but he knows his stuff and I'm super proud of him. I completely stand by him and his dreams, and I can't wait till the day that he's a pilot for a major airline.

My question is:
I have no clue on what to expect for our future. What comes after this rating? What will my life be like once he gets close to the top (and I do understand that the "top" and seniority takes a while). I'm pretty used to going two-three weeks at a time not seeing him, but I'm pretty sure that flying won't be that bad.

If anyone has any advice or comments please let me know! I feel clueless and I just want to know/learn everything that I can for him!
