Ok, so MSP is not as glamorous as Lisbon or Paris!
But its the circumstance that matters. Fiance has a break next weekend but he gets back to base well after the last flight of the day has left of San Jose. So rather than have him wait the next day to come home, he thought I'd like to go see him instead. All well and good until I told him I was summonsed for jury duty this week starting Tuesday, and if I was selected I didn't want to chance non-rev travel over the weekend. BUT ... I checked the automated phone line that updates your status and "my jury duty service is complete and I am exempt from service for the next 2 years"!!!! Yayyayaya! I guess they settled out of court! And I get to go see my baby in flippin' cold MN!!
