Sorry I mixed up the units, itīs 100 micrograms ( here the levothyroxine is commercialized under name Eutirox followed by 50, 75, 100 etc.)
I had blodtest the very first day of the treatment just to confirm the previous values of T4 and TSH and since than ( nov.2007) Iīd been taking the medication ( 50 micrograms) and on the top I had eco that confirmed nodules. GP referred me to endocrinologist ( appointment yesterday). After 2 months of meds I didnīt feel any better, I can follow a sleep and keep sleeping for 14 hours, Iīm slow..forgetfull ...and I can go on. I suppose thatīs why the doc decided to higher the dosage without blod test, now I have to wait untill end of the march to see if the hormones are Ok.
Iīm not afraid of neels ( well the one they used for biopsy of one of my tits last year wasnīt so fine
), but Iīm not confortable with lack of info. Thanks a lot Dana, you cleared a lot for me. I hope to feel better soon and hopefully the biopsy will turn out well too.
One more thing: Should I take meds some time before breakfest? Iīm taking them around 20- 30 minutes before. Is the absortion getting worse if I mixed with the food?
