They called him in the other day to do his captain checkride for the lear55. He'll probably keep flying as a lear60 FO for the rest of the month, then start in the 55 as captain. We knew he was close to his 2500 hours needed for upgrade, but his company is a little strange in how they do things, so we weren't sure how soon the upgrade would come. I"m so excited for him.
